Stamps Free !

Stamp Exchange is now open !

I have been working on installing new scripts to allow users to trade stamps like a auction site without any fees. I think this will be better than a forum because you will be able to browse and search trades with ease. Addtionally there will be a seperate rank attached to your user account to let everyone know your successes or failures of the past. I think this will help give users integrity by building a reputation as a fair trade partner and help them to attract more potential trade partners.

You can now go register at the Exchange. Use the same stamps free user name you use in the forum to register for this new account.

I've updated the site with a 3 different video news feeds that the site earns revenue from to help cover postage costs. Over in the Modules block on the top left you will see these new links.

Signup emails delivery delayed

It has been brought to my attention that some members are having difficulty verifying their accounts after signing up. I've done some tests myself and have found there to be a 15 miniute to 1 hour delay in delivery of the email even though the email was sent immediately after signing up. If you continue to have trouble verifiying your account send a email to admin@stamps-free.com

First Mailing of 740 postage stamps sent to members !

Today I sent out the first mailing of free postage stamps to collectors.
In all 740 stamps sent to places like India, Serbia, England, Phillipines, even one to the United States. Members are encoraged to visit the free stamp forum
to make a post to request stamps they would like to recieive.

The next mailing will be soon so look for another email from admin requesting your mailing address for more stamps to be sent to you !

Account verify link fixed

Today is our first day of accepting members ! It was brought to my attention that the link in the activation email was not working. I've gone ahead and manually approved all accounts. Those users that were having problems can now log in and begin posting comments for the packets they would like.
